Tree Riesener has published poetry and fiction in numerous literary magazines, including
Wigleaf, Flashquake, Flash Fiction Online, The Evergreen Review, Loch Raven Review, Ginosko Literary Review, Pindedyboz, Identity
Theory and The Source. Her work has been translated into Turkish and Russian.
Achievements include three first prizes for the Short Short Story, Science Fiction and the Literary
Short Story at the Philadelphia Writers Conference, Finalist for Black Lawrence Press's Hudson Prize for Fiction, Finalist
in Pank Magazine's Fiction Chapbook Contest, Best of Wigleaf 2009, Semi-Finalist in the Pablo Neruda Competition, three short
stories staged in the Writing Aloud productions of InterAct Theatre, Philadelphia, a Hawthornden International Writing Fellowship,
two Pushcart nominations and the William Van Wert Fiction Award.
She is the author of three poetry collections, Inscapes (Finishing Line Press), Angel Poison (Pudding
House Publications) and Liminalog (Inmates Run The Asylum Press). EK, a full-length collection of
ekphrastic poetry (widely and wildly interpreted) is forthcoming in 2012 from Cervena Barva Press.
